Star Legend, a cruise ship of an American cruise company Windstar Cruises, made her third port call at Miyako in 2 years in a raw.
In order to deal with international guests arrived on the ship, a lot of people joined us as staff interpreters and volunteers.
Some high school students are joining us repeatedly as volunteers. As they have more experience, they are able to communicate with foreign people with confidence.
