We held an event of Nihongo Hiroba "Let's Enjoy Calligraphy" in the creative studio of Eastpia Miyako on Jan. 12th, 2019.
We invited Mr. Keiseki Saito of Northern Japan Calligraphy College as lecturer. The participants, including international residents in Miyako and local people, tried calligraphy together. We hope that the international residents became more interested in Japanese culture and language through this experience. For many of the Japanese participants, it was their first lesson for a while, and they seemed enjoying it very much.
