We held an event of Nihongo Hiroba "Disaster Preparedness Training" on Nov. 11, 2018, on the occasion of the emergency drill of Miyako City.
After doing an evacuation guidance training for international tourists at Jodogahama Beach, we moved to Eastpia Miyako and had a multilingual disaster preparedness training. The participants tried using multilingual translation applications, and translating notices in simplified Japanese, English and Chinese. After that, we talked about issues to be solved that arose from the practical training.
