We held an event "Fireworks boat cruise": a night cruise in Miyako Bay to enjoy the fireworks display on a sightseeing boat on the occasion of Miyako Summer Festival on Aug. 12, 2018.
We held a similar event last year as well, with the cooperation of Miyako Jodogahama Seightseeing Boat, and it was a huge success. Also this year, many people joined the event. The participants on the boat were fascinated by the beautiful view of the fireworks.
This year, about 100 participants enjoyed the fireworks from the boat in the sea breeze of Sanriku. It seemed that they enjoyed the fireworks very much and some said that they would like to join the event again next year.
