On September 12, 2020, we joined the online seminar held by Yunnan Province, China, about the nature educational activities in Miyako.
We joined the online seminar from Jodogahama Visitor Center. Mr. Ryuji Ito of Iwate Prefectural Fisheries Science Museum talked about salmon, typical fish of Miyako, and emphasized the importance of maintaining the marine environment . Ms. Katsura Shimazaki of Jodogahama Visitor Center talked about their initiatives to keep the shores clean. Finally, Dr. Yasubumi Goto, chairman of Miyako International Association, talked about the exchange activities with China.
The participants in China seemed interested in Miyako, and asked us some questions.
