The award ceremony of the 1st "Cool ! MIYAKO-jin Photo Contest" was held on Dec. 23, 2019 at Eastpia Miyako.
People with roots in foreign countries partecipated in the contest with the photographs of "cool" people in Miyako. Before the contest, we had a photography lesson with a photographer Mr. Yuki Ida on Nov. 8. Photo works were collected by Dec. 5, and presentation and judging were done on Dec. 7.
The grand prize went to a picture taken by Niken-san entitled "I like Momoko-sensei!", the first runner-up went to a picture taken by Gordon-san entitled "Togo likes to go..." and the supplementary prize went to a picture taken by Yosef-san entitled "Yosef Picture".
