Under the slogan "A Day to Connect Miyako and the World"

On Sep. 29, 2019, we held "Iwate International Seminar for Youth in Miyako" and "Multicultural Coexistence Seminar in Miyako: What is multicultural coexistence ? Meet, feel, realize, think together and create together" at Eastpia Miyako.

These two events were dedicated to young people (high school and college students). In the morning, we held "Iwate International Seminar for Youth in Miyako" cosponsored by Iwate International Association. Participants practiced English communication and learned logical thinking through English lecture and practical activities together with a native English lecturer. In the afternoon, we held "Multicultural Coexistence Seminar in Miyako" cosponsored by Iwate Prefectural University. A lecture was given in the first half, and in the second half, we had a workshop.

We got feedback from the participants that they could have a deeper understanding about multucultural coexistence.
