Todogasaki Lighthouse
The easternmost part of Japan's main island
On the cape located on the easternmost part of Japan's main island, at longitude 142 degrees 4 minutes 21 seconds east, there is a pure-white Todogasaki Lighthouse watching for the safety of ships traveling the ocean. To visit Todogasaki Lighthouse, there is a 4 km natural walkway from the Aneyoshi fishery port, which is about a 1-hour and 10-minute walk one-way.
